FIELD: devices removing hydrogen sulphide with sulphur recovery from gases.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices removing hydrogen sulphide with sulphur recovery from gases. Sour gas direct oxidation sulphur recovery unit comprises cooled catalytic reactor 1 with catalyst for hydrogen sulfide oxidation, desulfurization unit 2, mixer 3, separator 4, pumps 5 and 6, chilling machine 7, waste gas utilization unit 8. The sour gas containing hydrogen sulphide is injected together with air to the reactor 1. Reaction products are directed from the reactor 1 top to the two-section scrubber 2 where the products come into contact with the sulfur suspension balance part injected from the outlet line of sulfur suspension from the separator 4 and then with the circulating part of sulfur injected from the line, through which sulfur is taken from the bottom of two-section scrubber 2 via the pump 5. The desulfurized gas containing residual sulfur vapor is directed to the mixer 3, where gas comes into contact with the circulating part of sulfur suspension injected from the outlet line of sulfur suspension from the separator 4. The obtained water-gas mixture is cooled in the chilling machine 7 and separated in the separator 4. Waste gas is derived from the top of the separator and discharged to the atmosphere through the unit 8. The sulphur suspension is discharged from the bottom of separator 4 by pump 6, the sulphur suspension balance part is sent to the scrubber 2, and the circulating part is sent to the mixer 3.

EFFECT: invention provides for reducing environmental pollution by reducing elemental sulphur content in the waste gas.
