FIELD: radioactive waste processing.
SUBSTANCE: furnace contains a loading unit with a loading chamber and a movable thermal gate with a controlled drive, chambers for combustion and afterburning of exhaust gases, as well as a housing. The body is made of metal with fins. The chambers for combustion and afterburning of exhaust gases are made interconnected by a single internal space in a single lining array made in the form of masonry. At the same time, a part of the inner surface of the lining of the combustion chamber is made at an angle, the top of which is facing the lower part of the combustion chamber. The afterburner is made in the form of a cyclone shaft. A heat-insulating layer is placed between the lining array and the metal body of the furnace. Fittings are installed on the body of the loading unit with the loading chamber. Rotary dampers are installed in the upper part of the loading chamber. A movable thermal gate with a rotary screen is installed in the lower part of the loading chamber. In the lower part of the combustion chamber, grates are installed one under the other, the upper of which is made collapsible, and the lower one is non-collapsible.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in fuel consumption for heating the furnace.
