FIELD: powder metallurgy; production of powder materials from tool steel waste.
SUBSTANCE: method involves electroerosive dispersion of tool steel waste in water at a pulse repetition rate of 40 to 80 Hz, electrode voltage of 200 to 220 V and capacitor capacitance of 35 to 55 mcF.
EFFECT: obtaining a powder of the correct spherical or elliptical shape in an environmentally friendly, inexpensive and safe way.
