SUBSTANCE: method for reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides consists in the fact that in the burner containing a housing in which a device for supplying gaseous fuel and/or a device for supplying liquid fuel, a pilot burner, central and peripheral air channels are installed, blades for swirling air are located in the channels. The device for supplying gaseous fuel is made in the form of gas-distributing tubes located in the air channel parallel to the axis of the main burner body; gas-distributing tubes are fitted with the extension gas tubes with exit nozzles, mounted in the furnace at the arch in the area between the air flow coming from the burner and flue gases, so that part of the gaseous fuel jet is in the air flow, and part of the gaseous fuel jet is in the flue gases. The jets of gaseous fuel flowing from the nozzles eject flue gases, the gaseous fuel is diluted with flue gases before ignition, or the nozzles of the extension gas tubes located along the perimeter of the arch are placed in the furnace outside the air flow in such a way that the jets of gaseous fuel are completely located in the flue gases , jets of gaseous fuel flowing from the nozzles eject flue gases, the gaseous fuel is diluted with flue gases before mixing it with the air flow coming from the burner and igniting.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
