FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method for reducing nitrogen oxide emissions in which gas distribution tubes with nozzles at the outlet are installed in a coal and gas burner containing a channel for supplying coal dust and an air channel. Separate air channels are coaxially placed along the perimeter of the channel for supplying coal dust, gas distribution tubes are installed in separate air channels, the nozzles of the gas distribution tubes are brought into the furnace beyond the air flow emerging from the air channel and are placed along the perimeter of the embrasure. Jets of fuel gas flowing from the nozzles eject flue gases, the fuel gas is diluted with flue gases before mixing it with the air flow coming from the air channel and igniting it. Separate air channels are connected either to a separate air supply, which is switched off when the dust and gas burner is operating on fuel gas, or individual air channels are connected to the air channel through connecting air channels. A gate is placed in the air channel, designed to block the entrance to the connecting air channels during operation of a dust-gas burner using coal dust, air is supplied to separate air channels.

EFFECT: reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions when burning fuel gas in a dust and gas burner.
