SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a cartridge for use in an aerosol generating system made with the possibility of use of a reaction of nicotine and acid to deliver aerosol to users, and to an aerosol generating system. The cartridge contains the first compartment having the first air inlet and the first air outlet and containing a nicotine source; and the second compartment having the second air inlet and the second air outlet and containing an acid source. The first compartment contains the first airflow channel passing from the first air inlet or the first air outlet along part of the first compartment, wherein the first airflow channel is adjacent to the nicotine source and communicates with it via fluid. An alternative is possible, in which the second compartment contains the second airflow channel passing from the second air inlet or the second air outlet in a longitudinal direction along at least a section of the second compartment. The second airflow channel is adjacent to the acid source and communicates with it via fluid. An alternative is possible, in which the first compartment contains the first airflow channel passing from the first air inlet or the first air outlet in a longitudinal direction along part of the first compartment, the first airflow channel is adjacent to the nicotine source and communicates with it via fluid; and the second compartment contains the second airflow channel passing from the second air inlet or the second air outlet in a longitudinal direction along part of the second compartment. The second airflow channel is adjacent to the acid source and communicates with it via fluid. One of the first airflow channel and the second airflow channel is at least partially formed with one or more protrusions passing from an inner wall of the first compartment or the second compartment, respectively, and the specified one or more protrusions are made with the possibility of support of the nicotine source or the acid source. The aerosol generating system is made with the possibility of use of a reaction of nicotine and acid to deliver aerosol to users, containing a cartridge and an aerosol generating device containing: a case forming a cavity for accommodating the cartridge. The device includes a heater for heating the first compartment and the second compartment of the cartridge.
EFFECT: creation of such an aerosol generating device, which would provide an increased speed of aerosol delivery to users.
