FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry, specifically to an aqueous solution for treating a liquid to reduce the concentration of hydrogen sulfide and other pollutants without the formation of a precipitate that contains one or more hydroxide compounds, one or more organic acids, which includes fulvic and humic acids and water. The total concentration of hydroxide in the treatment solution is in the range from 35 to 55, wt. %, and the total concentration of at least one organic acid in the treatment solution is from 0.01, wt. %, up to 10, wt. %.
EFFECT: use of a solution to safely and effectively reduce the concentration of hydrogen sulfide to acceptable levels without precipitation and without the formation of solid deposits on surfaces.
