FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: bismuth compound for obtaining a hardened product, in which a phosphoric acid ester containing a (meth)acrylic group is bonded to bismuth. The phosphoric acid ester is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 2-((meth)acryloyloxy)ethyl dihydrophosphate, bis[2-((meth)acryloyloxy)ethyl]hydrophosphate, and phenyl-2-((meth)acryloyloxy)ethyl phosphate. A bismuth compound is obtained by a reaction between bismuth (meth)acrylate or bismuth subsalicylate and a phosphoric acid ester containing (meth)acrylic group(s) to effect dehydration. A curable composition and a hardened product are also claimed.
EFFECT: bismuth compound has high solubility in organic material, especially the radical polymerizable monomer, and can achieve a high degree of dispersion of the bismuth component in the cured product obtained from the curable composition containing the radical polymerizable monomer, and can also reduce the coloration of the hardened product.
