FIELD: ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: built-in silicone hydrogel contact lenses, including a silicone hydrogel material and a hydrophobic insert. The silicone hydrogel material contains repeating units of at least one first polysiloxane-vinyl crosslinker, including hydrophilized siloxane units, each of which contains one methyl substituent and one organic radical containing at least one H-bond donor, while the content of at least one specified H-bond donor is min 0.8 meq/g relative to the molecular weight of at least one first polysiloxane-vinyl crosslinker, and repeating units of at least one hydrophilic vinyl monomer. The insert consists of a crosslinked polymeric material in which the mole fraction of repeating units of acrylic is not less than 55%, and the mole of repeating units of at least one vinyl crosslinker is not less than 6%.
EFFECT: these lenses are not subject to delamination.
