FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for treatment of feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) caused by feline coronavirus (FCoV). A lyophilized form of a composition for preparing a solution for subcutaneous administration based on the nucleoside analog VS-121354 and Taurine amino acid as active ingredients using a solubilizer sodium betadexsulfobutylate and a pH-adjusting agent is proposed in the following ratio of components wt.%: nucleoside analog VS-121354 or its analogue 2.8–3.8, taurine 6.9–8.5, sodium betadexasulfobutylate 84.55–93.45.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the shelf life and improving the consumer properties of the finished dosage form, reducing the severity of pain syndrome and local irritating reactions to the injection field, increasing the therapeutic efficacy by the synergy of the two active substances.
