FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology, it is intended for the use when treating eye infections in animals. Ophthalmic solution contains at least 0.1 % wt./vol. of 2-amino-9-[[(1S,2R)-1,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)cyclopropyl]methyl]-1,9-dihydro-6H-purin-6-one and at least 15 % wt./vol. of cyclodextrin. A method for producing the specified solution is also presented, including following stages: a) a solution is obtained containing at least 15 % wt./vol. of cyclodextrin; b) 2-amino-9-[[(1S,2R)-1,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)-cyclopropyl]methyl]-1,9-dihydro-6H-purin-6-one is added to this solution; c) 2-amino-9-[[(1S,2R)-1,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)-cyclopropyl]methyl]-1,9-dihydro-6H-purin-6-one added at the stage b) is dissolved; and d) the stages b) and c) are repeated until the concentration of 2-amino-9-[[(1S,2R)-1,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)-cyclopropyl]methyl]-1,9-dihydro-6H-purin-6-one in the solution of at least 1 mg/ml is obtained.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides for a solution with improved stability, which allows one to re-use it at intervals of several hours during several days or weeks without precipitation formation, as well as good tolerance with healthy and infected eyes.
