FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of polymer meshes and drainage geocomposites, which can be used in various areas of construction. A method for manufacturing a polymer mesh for a drainage geocomposite is claimed, including extrusion of a polymer melt by extruding the polymer melt through the dies of external and internal forming tools mounted on an extrusion head, obtaining parallel polymer flows, forming a mesh by rotating at least one of the tools to ensure crossing polymer flows between themselves and their connection at the intersections to obtain a grid, followed by stretching, cooling and opening the grid, according to the invention, flat polymer flows are squeezed out through the dies of the external and internal forming tools to obtain flat strands with one narrower edge, the strands are connected, placed on the edge, by ensuring the contact of the strands with each other from the side of the narrow edge, and the cooling of the mesh material is carried out on the receiving-calibrating drum located at a distance of at least 140-300 mm from the die. The product of the claimed method is a polymer mesh for a drainage geocomposite, which is made in the form of a two-level mesh web of two rows of intersecting flat polymer strands placed on an edge, with the flat strands interconnected from the side of a narrower edge to form cells. Using this mesh, a drainage geocomposite is obtained containing a drainage core in the form of the mentioned polymer mesh.
EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of means for the intended purpose, improving the quality of the polymer mesh and the drainage geocomposite made using it by increasing the specific strength of the mesh strands and the strength of the connection of the mesh strands with each other, reducing the material consumption of the manufacturing method, as well as reducing the specific gravity of the drainage geocomposite with an increase in drainage properties, including when exposed to static loads.
