FIELD: paintwork materials.
SUBSTANCE: manufacturing of a binder for paints and varnishes. The method for producing a non-gelling powdered sodium carboxymethyl cellulose product includes processing plant materials with sodium salt of monochloroacetic acid in a flow-through vibro-centrifugal mill. Then an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide is added, the resulting mixture is stirred and mechanochemical processing is carried out in a flow-through vibro-centrifugal mill with an acceleration of grinding bodies of 30 m/s2. Buckwheat husk is used as vegetable raw material. A non-gelling powdered sodium carboxymethyl cellulose product and its use are also provided.
EFFECT: increasing the fluidity of a concentrated solution of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose product.
