FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing compositions based on carboxymethyl derivatives of cellulose and can be used in oil and gas industry and plant growing. Method involves treatment of initial vegetal raw material with monochloroacetic acid sodium salt in continuous flow centrifugal mill, addition of aqueous sodium hydroxide solution and repeated stirring, wherein mechanochemical treatment in the vibrating centrifugal mill is carried out at acceleration of milling bodies 30 m/s2, at temperature not higher than 50 °C for 2–5 minutes, and components are taken in the following molar ratio: lignocellulose : sodium salt of monochloroacetic acid : sodium hydroxide : water = 1:2:(5.8–7.5):(7–11).
EFFECT: invention increases reaction output while reducing energy consumption and duration of the process.
