SUBSTANCE: method for protecting an electronic image from forgery based on affine transformations. Private security key Z is formed at the sender in form of an electronic bitmap, an electronic pixel image is formed from the original information for sending, a message X is formed from the received electronic pixel image in form of an electronic bitmap, private key Z is encoded, forming public key for the recipient - a limited set of numbers Qz of the code of private key Z, at least one check non-expandable affine-equivalent of private key Z and the message part X, electronic bitmap Y are formed at the sender, message X and at least one received check electronic bitmap Y are sent to the recipient.

EFFECT: increasing security of information during its transmission over communication channels, by forming a mechanism based on affine transformations of the sent information allowing to accurately authenticate the sender and, therefore, increase confidence in authenticity of the sent/received information.
