FIELD: corrosion protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for corrosion protection of steel equipment and ensuring industrial safety of hazardous production facilities, including oil and gas equipment exposed to electrochemical corrosion in aqueous media. The method involves pre-annealing of the steel surface of the equipment, which is then placed in a solution of salts with the addition of a NaOH inhibitor.
EFFECT: invention provides the use of a pre-heat treatment mode, which contributes to an increase in the adsorption capacity of the corrosion inhibitor to increase its effectiveness.
