SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and is intended for the treatment of chronic tonsillitis. At the first stage, the lacunae of the palatine tonsils are washed with 40 ml of saline using the Tonsillor-MM device. Immediately after, the lacunae of the palatine tonsils are washed with 40 ml of saline using a Hartmann cannula according to the Belogolovy method. Next, the lacunae are exposed to nitric monoxide as a form of NO-therapy, by processing a lacuna intralacunarly for 5 seconds at the exhalation, but not more than 30 seconds on each palatine tonsil. After that, intralacunar impregnation of a solution of chlorophyllipt is carried out at the rate of 1.0 ml for both palatine tonsils; the procedures are carried out every other day in a 10-procedure course, the treatment course is repeated after 6 months.

EFFECT: method ensures increasing the efficiency of treatment of chronic tonsillitis due to a combination of sequential exposure of the Tonsillor-MM device, washing the fragments of exfoliated bacterial films out of the lacunae of the palatine tonsils and subsequent blowing with nitrogen monoxide and introducing a solution of chlorophyllipt into the NM lacunae, followed by a repetition of the procedure course after six months, which avoids relapses of the disease.
