FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: control system for the brakes and turning of the tractor using the brake mechanisms of fixed wheels. Pedal assembly for brake control and steering of the tractor contains one pedal and one main cylinder, configured to act synchronously or asynchronously on the left and right hydraulic or pneumatic circuits of the brake system by means of an electric signal. The pedal platform is made rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the direction of pressing the pedal, with the possibility of acting on an electric switch that determines the algorithm for actuating the brake mechanisms of the right and left wheels, depending on the rotation of the pedal platform in one direction or another.
EFFECT: simplification and reduction of the dimensions of the mechanism for controlling the braking and steering of the tractor and, as a result, its cheapening.
