SUBSTANCE: central vitrectomy is performed, the MembraneBlue Dual dye and a drop of a perfluoroorganic compound (PFOC) are introduced into the area of the optic nerve head (OND) into this mixture. The volume of injected PFOC is increased to fill the vitreal cavity to the base of the vitreous body (VT). Next, peripheral vitrectomy of the stained sections of the vitreous is performed. After the introduction of MembraneBlue Dual dye, a 0.1 ml triamcionolone suspension is injected into the optic disc area, and vitrectomy is performed in a balanced saline solution (BSS) environment, followed by replacing the BSS with sterile air. If there is tamponade of the vitreal cavity with silicone oil, extrusion of silicone oil is performed before introducing the mixture.

EFFECT: invention improves the ability to visualize CT with the identification of epiretinal membranes, retinal breaks, both in the central and peripheral parts for choosing the appropriate treatment.
