FIELD: thermoplastic powder paint.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a powder polyethylene composition for protection against icing and corrosion of ship hulls and steel pipelines includes preliminary production of a granular composition and subsequent mechanical grinding of the granulate to a particle size of 150-250 microns. The granular composition includes bimodal high-density polyethylene, high-density cast polyethylene, malleated cast high-density polyethylene, ethylene-octene copolymer, styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene block copolymer, dye superconcentrate based on cast linear polyethylene, primary phenol-type antioxidant, secondary phosphite antioxidant, light stabilizer and fluoropolymer.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the rigidity, wear resistance, strength and adhesion of a coating based on a powdered polyethylene composition.
