FIELD: communication technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication technology and can be used in optical communication systems. The technical result consists in increasing the reliability of the system by using pumped fiber laser systems. To do this, the optical communication system consists of a first pumped fiber laser system, a second pumped fiber laser system, at least one splitter combiner element configured to combine the radiation of the first pumped laser and the radiation of the second pumped laser and transmit N parts of the laser radiation pumped, N doped fiber amplifiers, where N is at least four, and each doped fiber amplifier is configured to receive one part of N parts of the pumped laser radiation and the input optical signal, amplify the input optical signal, and transmit the amplified optical signal.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the system by using pumped fiber laser systems.
