FIELD: laser equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser engineering, namely to method and device for arrangement of pumping fibre and active fibre of high-power fibre laser or radiation amplifier. fibre laser module comprises a metal housing with a flat base and a cover with at least one peripheral window for input/output of external fibres, wherein part of the inner surface of the flat base of the housing, intended for receiving the active fibre, has a section with a relief surface in the form of two or more crests of concentric elements that are wavy in the radial section; active fibre doped in the core with one of a number of rare-earth elements, and a multimode pumping fibre, enclosed in a common light guide and protective cladding; fibre functional element intended for connection of internal and external fibres of laser module through peripheral window of housing; a layer of fixing glue and a layer of polymer for filling the content in the laser module.
EFFECT: high output power of the fibre laser module, more efficient excitation of the core of the active fibre by transverse pumping modes, high efficiency of heat removal.
