FIELD: medicine; veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for reducing the pro-oxidant effect of a low-frequency alternating magnetic field in an experiment. The claimed method consists in the daily intraperitoneal administration of Cytoflavin at a dose of 100 mg/kg of succinate to laboratory animals for 6 days immediately before exposure to an alternating magnetic field with a frequency of 50 Hz, a magnetic field induction of 0.4 mT and an exposure of 3 hours.
EFFECT: reduced duration of the course of correction of the antioxidant status of a warm-blooded organism to 6 days by introducing the succinate-containing drug Cytoflavin to laboratory animals exposed to a low-frequency alternating magnetic field.
