FIELD: high-pressure hydraulic machines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-pressure hydraulic machines designed for producing high-pressure cutting supersonic liquid jets with small angle of divergence of outer limits in open air. Variable cross-section channel is made in cutting head to form high-pressure liquid jet. Length of section of seal central channel surface made from side of nozzle in form of de Laval nozzle considerably exceeds diameter of inlet hole of nozzle channel in its end face section. Diameters of inlet hole of nozzle channel and outlet hole of seal channel in their end face sections are equal, and diameter of outlet hole of insert channel is not less than diameter of inlet hole of seal channel section whose surface is made in form of de Laval nozzle. Two-step cylindrical insert of cutting head has taper end face made on its smaller diameter and engaging with inlet taper end face of deformable seal. Adjusting washer is installed between end faces of holder and insert. Insert is fitted at its smaller diameter in holder, and at its larger diameter, in housing. Deformable seal is made of aluminium alloy. At liquid pressure of 250 MPa and diameter of nozzle outlet hole of 100 μm, cutting head provides angle of divergence of jet outer limits in free air space not exceeding six degrees at length of cylindrical part of out lowing jet not less than 0.5 mm. EFFECT: provision of small angle of jet divergence in open air space. 2 cl, 1 dwg
