FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in cutting by fluid jets bearing abrasive particles. Proposed control system is intended for high-pressure cutter including fluid flow channel and that for suspension flow with suspended abrasive particles. Fluid and abrasive particles flows are forced to cutter so that, at least, portion of fed pressure is transformed in cutter into kinetic power to create high-speed flow of fluid-suspension mix. Said cutter comprises mixing chamber to receive said mix. Inlet pressure is defined by fluid flow pressure. Said control system allows feeding suspension flow or shutting it off by activating or deactivating power means arranged upstream of said chamber so that pressure in suspension channels equals, in fact, that at mixing chamber inlet irrespective of absence or presence of suspension flow.
EFFECT: control over cutting properties, higher efficiency.
