FIELD: food devices.
SUBSTANCE: beverage dispensing system consists of an opening in the faucet system for accommodating the duct. At least two electrodes are disposed along the opening adjacent to or on the channel such that at least at some locations along the channel the two electrodes are placed opposite each other with the duct between them, thus forming a capacitor. An oscillatory signal is applied to one electrode and the signal is read from the other electrode. As the drink is sucked through the duct into the container, the capacitance of the condenser changes. The incoming beverage may have different characteristics, but the capacitance of the capacitor may also vary because the beverage in the duct is in conductive contact with the capacitance, which may be in contact with the ground pin. A change in the capacitance of the capacitor results in a change in the amplitude of the detection circuit connected to the second electrode.
EFFECT: enhancement of the efficiency of the device for detecting the flow through the duct of the beverage dispensing system.
