FIELD: petrochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemistry, to methods for determination of operational characteristics of oil products, in particular octane numbers of gaseous hydrocarbons involved as components to automobile fuels for internal combustion engines. The method for determination of octane numbers of mixing of gaseous components of motor gasolines consists in determination of octane numbers by motor and research methods and calculation, based on data obtained, of values, according to the formula:

where ONmix is an octane number of mixing of a gaseous component (hereinafter – GC) (RONmix or MONmix); ONBC(BF) is an octane number of basic components (hereinafter – BC) (basic fuels, hereinafter – BF), determined by research or motor method (RONBC(BF) or MONBC(BF)); ONBC(BF)+GC is an octane number of a mixture of BC (BF) and GC, determined by research or motor method (RONBC(BF)+GC or MONBC(BF)+GC); ω is a proportion of a corresponding component (GC, BC (BF)), while sampling of gaseous components is additionally carried out by a method for barbotage into basic components of gasolines or basic fuel, and values of octane numbers of mixing for gaseous components of motor gasolines by the motor method (MONmix) and octane number of mixing for gaseous components of motor gasolines by the research method (RONmix) are obtained.

EFFECT: development of a method for determination of an octane number of mixing by research and motor methods for gaseous components involved in motor gasolines.
