The method for increasing the adaptive capacity of calves includes introducing a phytonutrient source of ursolic acid into the main diet, which is a dry extract of cranberry meal in doses of 100–400.0 mg per day per head for 10 days before transfer to the main group and 10 days after transfer.

EFFECT: proposed method for increasing the adaptive capacity of calves provides for the use of vegetable raw materials, which are a source of ursolic acid, to increase the stress resistance of calves, normalize metabolism and increase live weight gain.
