FIELD: converting technology.

SUBSTANCE: converter (1) of electrical energy contains a plurality of arms of bridges of switch blocks. The first stage (2), the second stage (3) and the third stage (4) of the converter (1) are connected in series. The first stage (2) contains the first positive and negative voltage bridge arms (21) that are connected between the first output node (23) and the first two input nodes (24, 25). The second stage (3) contains three input node points (37, 38, 39) and positive and negative voltage sections (31, 32), each of which is connected between the first input node point (24, 25) and two second input node points (37, 38, 39). The third stage (4) contains the third arms (41, 42, 43) of the bridge of positive, intermediate and negative voltages, connected between the three second input node points (37, 38, 39) and the three third input node points (44, 45, 46). Capacitors (51, 52, 53, 54) are connected between the three second input nodes (37, 38, 39) and between the three third input nodes (44, 45, 46).

EFFECT: improve the multi-level converter.
