The method for producing modified hydroxyethyl methylcellulose for reinforced adhesive for ceramic tiles according to the invention includes the following steps: weighing powder of cellulose, granulated caustic soda, liquid caustic soda, chloromethane and ethylene oxide to obtain modified hydroxyethyl methylcellulose for reinforced adhesive for ceramic tiles in a mass ratio of 1:(0.01-1.0):(0.02-2.1):(0.50-2.0):(0.01-1.5); mixing cellulose powder, granulated caustic soda, liquid caustic soda, chloromethane and ethylene oxide, and carrying out the reaction of esterification, neutralization, washing, centrifugation, drying and grinding to obtain hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose; mixing and agitation of hydroxyethyl methylcellulose, starch ester, dispersant and rheological agent to obtain modified hydroxyethyl methylcellulose for reinforced ceramic tile adhesive.

EFFECT: improvement of the adhesive tensile strength and the safety of using ceramic tiles.
