SUBSTANCE: method performed by the wireless node; contains the transmission of the first information element, including a number of parameters that are configured for a number of wireless devices to perform the corresponding random access procedures (RACH); transmitting a second information element including a subset of the number of parameters configured for one of the number of wireless communication devices to perform one of the random access procedures.

EFFECT: reduced RA delay and reduced cost of downlink signalling by implementing a two-stage RACH, including the preamble and payload in messages to establish a connection with the network.
