FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to aluminium-based alloys, and can be used to obtain thin-walled castings of complex shape, mainly by injection moulding, used in the automotive industry, for housings of electronic devices, for critical parts operating at elevated temperatures. Cast alloy based on aluminium contains, in % by weight: calcium 2.0 - 5.2; silicon 0.05 - 0.8; iron 0.05 - 1.0; zinc 0.01 - 5.0; magnesium 0.01 - 2.0; optionally, at least one alloying element from the group: copper 0.01 - 1.4; manganese 0.01 - 1.5; chromium 0.01 - 0.2; titanium 0.01 - 0.2; zirconium 0.01 - 0.2, aluminium and inevitable impurities.
EFFECT: enabling high strength properties while maintaining ductility, manufacturability during casting and high corrosion resistance.
