FIELD: spacecraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: methods for assembling spacecraft (SC) elements, mainly a xenon high-pressure tank (XHPT) with a cable fastening system. When assembling the specified XHPT containing a metal liner, first, the plates of the cable fastening system are installed on the plates of the attachment points and the XHPT is suspended in the load-bearing structure of the body (LSB) of the SC. The adjusting mechanisms of the nodes are assembled separately and after that the XHPT centering in the LSB is carried out along them. An individual set of washers is laid in each attachment point, the thickness of which provides a given tension of the cables. The tension is created by washers and nuts installed on the adjusting mechanisms from a set of assemblies, which are tightened according to a certain pattern manually and with a torque wrench.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the XHPT installation with a cable fastening system on the SC LSB due to the guaranteed provision of the required tension of the cables with a given tolerance, without measuring the tension forces.
