FIELD: heat-insulating materials.
SUBSTANCE: production of heat-insulating materials based on melted rocks of the gabbro-basalt group. Invention relates specifically to production of mineral wool used for heat and sound insulation in construction and other industries. The composition of mineral wool contains basalt, crushed to 9-10 mm, and the active mineral additive "phosphosol", granulated to a fraction of 10-15 mm, in the following ratio in % of weight: basalt 80, "phosphosol" 20. "Phospozol" is obtained from a mixture of low-calcium ash and slag waste from thermal power plants with alumina content of 17.75% and phosphogypsum in the following ratio in % of weight: ash and slag waste 13.34, phosphogypsum 6.66.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of raw materials for production of mineral wool, which makes it possible to utilize man-made waste.
