FIELD: electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the deposition of hybrid coatings based on oxides of cobalt, nickel and chitosan on the surface of stainless steel grade “08Х18Н10”, and can be used as wear-resistant, antibacterial and corrosion-protective coatings. The method includes oxidation of the surface of the product with asymmetric alternating current in an electrolyte containing a solution of chitosan with the addition of a dilute hydrochloric acid solution, whereas a nickel sublayer from Watts electrolyte is applied to the product, food water-soluble chitosan is used as chitosan, and the surface of the product is oxidized by an aqueous electrolyte solution, additionally containing cobalt and nickel nitrates, nickel chloride, polyepichlorohydrindimethylamine (polyECHDMA) surfactant, using alternating asymmetric current at a ratio of cathode and anode current components of 1.8:1, voltage 25-30 V, at a temperature of 40°C, electrolysis time 60 min, at a pH of 2-3, and at a ratio in the electrolyte components, g/l: cobalt nitrate (Co(NO3)2⋅ 6H2O) 80.0-100.0; nickel chloride (NiCl2⋅6H2O) 15.0-30.0; Nickel nitrate (Ni(NO3)2⋅6H2O) 15.0-30.0; polyECHDMA 2.0-6.0; chitosan food water-soluble 1.0-2.0.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance of coatings, adhesion strength of the coating to the base, and coating thickness.
