FIELD: flexible electrode materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of flexible electrode materials used in chemical current sources, in particular, in supercapacitors and batteries. A method for producing a flexible electrode material involves oxidizing the surface of a working electrode made of carbon fabric with a pre-applied layer of vanadium oxides on both sides from an aqueous electrolyte solution containing ammonium heptamolybdate, cobalt sulphate, ferrous sulphate, nickel sulphate, cobalt chloride, as well as boric, citric and polyacrylic acid. Counter electrodes are made of stainless steel. Oxidation is carried out using alternating asymmetric current of industrial frequency 50 Hz at pH equal to 4.0, with a ratio of average cathode and anodic current densities of 1.5:1 for 40 minutes at a temperature of 60°C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the production of flexible electrode materials for supercapacitors with an alkaline electrolyte, increase their specific capacity, and ensure uniform distribution of oxide compounds throughout the depth of the carbon tissue.
