FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a hybrid material for electrodes of chemical current sources, which consists in the fact that the surface of a working electrode made of carbon fabric with a pre-deposited layer of tungsten oxides is subjected to polarization with alternating asymmetric current of industrial frequency of 50 Hz at pH 4.0, temperature of 60 °C, for 40 minutes, counter-electrodes used are stainless steel, in an aqueous electrolyte solution containing salts of molybdenum, cobalt, iron, nickel, citric acid, boric acid, characterized by that the electrolyte additionally contains polyethylene glycol (PEG-600) at the following ratios of components (g/l): ammonium heptamolybdate ((NH4)6Mo7⋅O24⋅4H2O) 20.0-40.0, cobalt sulphate (CoSO4⋅7H2O) 80.0-100.0, iron sulphate (FeSO4⋅7H2O) 8.0-10.0, nickel sulphate (NiSO4⋅7H2O) 20.0-30.0, cobalt chloride (CoCl2⋅6H2O) 10.0-14.0, boric acid (H3BO3) 20.0-30.0, citric acid (C6H8O7) 2.0-4.0, polyethylene glycol (PEG-600) (H-(O-(CH2)2)n-OHn) 2.0-10.0, when polarization is carried out with alternating asymmetric current, the ratio of average densities of cathode and anode currents Ic:Ia for period is 2:1 on both sides.
EFFECT: use of the disclosed method enables simultaneous coprecipitation of metal oxides and polyethylene glycol (PEG-600) on the surface of the carbon fabric; to realize uniform distribution of oxide compounds in depth of carbon fabric.
