FIELD: water-containing reactor.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a reactor (2) with pressurized water, as well as to a method for operating a reactor with pressurized water. The reactor uses a system (14) for monitoring the chemical water state of the reactor, containing a selection line (18) in the direction of the flow of the coolant of the primary circuit of the reactor, a high-pressure injection pump (32) with a given pressure at the outlet and an injection line (34) leading to the first circuit (4) of the reactor coolant. Moreover, the system (14) for controlling the chemical water state of the reactor also contains a hydrogenation system (16) with a hydrogen source (36) and a hydrogen supply line (38). A high-pressure feed pump (40) is located in the feed line (38) to provide a gas pressure that is higher than the outlet pressure of the pressure pump (32), with the feed line (38) leading to the pressure line (34).

EFFECT: efficient and fast supply of hydrogen to the primary reactor coolant circuit, with the ability to supply a precisely defined amount of hydrogen in a certain time.
