SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transfusiology, oncology and hematology, and can be used to select the volume of erythrocyte suspension transfusion in children weighing up to 30 kg with oncological and hematological diseases. The age, diagnosis, body mass index (BMI) of the patient, the presence or absence of hepatosplenomegaly, changes in body temperature in the current day are determined. The value of the function taking into account the indicated signs of the patient is calculated. The interval of the recommended volume of erythrocyte suspension transfusion is calculated, in which an effective-safe increase in hemoglobin level is ensured in the range of at least 10 g/l and not more than 30 g/l, without the danger of a critical decrease in the filtration function of the kidneys. The transfusion volume is selected from the calculated interval.

EFFECT: method provides an increase in the efficiency and safety of blood transfusion in pediatric patients weighing up to 30 kg with oncological and hematological diseases due to the obtained range of recommended values for the volume of erythrocyte suspension, which provides an effective and safe increase in hemoglobin level in specific clinical conditions, allowing to preserve the filtration function of the kidneys.
