FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynaecology, prenatal diagnostics, and can be used to determine the volume of intrauterine transfusion (IT) in developing anaemia in a foetus without dropsy. Cordocentesis is performed to determine the initial level of foetal haemoglobin in g/dl. Then the initial haemoglobin level in MoM is calculated as the ratio of the initial haemoglobin to the median haemoglobin for the established gestational age. Target haemoglobin level in MoM is taken to be 1.1 MoM, and the specific volume of IT is calculated by formula.

EFFECT: method enables determining the complications of IT, including heart failure, an unfavourable outcome by determining the achieved haemoglobin level and determining the specific volume of IT.
