FIELD: smoking articles.

SUBSTANCE: product contains a cylindrical smoking body with a combustible material surrounded by wrapping paper, a filter element designed to reduce the content of substances in the gaseous combustion products drawn through the filter element from the burning smoking body. The first main area of the filter element faces the main area of the smoking body, the second main area is an open main area. The rim paper covers the smoking body and the filter element and is attached to their outer surfaces. In or on the rim paper at a distance from the second main area in the longitudinal direction there is a flavouring substance. The distribution of the flavouring substance changes in the longitudinal direction. The amount and/or type of flavouring substance contacting the smoker's lips depends on the state of progressive movement of the smoking article relative to the longitudinal direction.

EFFECT: possibility of regulation of the intensity of impact of the flavouring substance delivered to the smoker.
