FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to products manufactured or produced from tobacco or otherwise containing tobacco and intended for human consumption, and, in particular, to a segmented smoking article, which generates aerosols containing significantly less products of incomplete combustion and pyrolysis compared to tobacco products producing smoke by burning tobacco. Disclosed is a smoking article having opposite to each other fired end and mouth end. On the mouthpiece end there is a part of the mouth end, and on the ignited end there is a heat-generating part. At least heat-generating part is wrapped with outer wrapping material, which passes to part of mouthpiece end so that to form cylindrical rod. Inside the wrapping material between the heat-generating part and part of the mouthpiece end there is an aerosol-generating portion. Aerosol generating part is configured to generate aerosol while receiving heat from heat-generating part.
EFFECT: aerosol-generating portion and heat-generating part are configured to interact to distribute heat produced by the aerosol-generating portion from the heat-generating portion so as to prevent burning of the outer wrapping material.
