FIELD: carbon production.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing modified activated carbon, including washing industrial activated carbon (AC) with distilled water. The method is characterized by the fact that AC is treated with a 10% ammonium sulphate solution and heated at a temperature of 200°C within 1 hour.
EFFECT: increasing the sorption capacity of activated carbons for dimethylformamide, reduction of the consumption of electricity, reagents, and exclusion of the explosive reagents.
