SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for purifying aqueous solutions from dimethylformamide by adsorption with activated carbon, including washing the activated carbon with distilled water and pretreating the activated carbon with a chemical reagent, wherein a solution of potassium dichromate with a concentration of 5% is used as a reagent, at a ratio of the weight of carbon in grams to the volume of solution in cm3 of 1:100, for 24 hours, followed by heating at a temperature of 200°C for 1 hour in air.
EFFECT: ensured purification of aqueous solutions.
