FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of modifying industrial active coal. Process of modifying includes washing industrial active coal with distilled water, treatment with hydrogen peroxide solution, then low-concentration production effluent treatment ε-caprolactam and heating of treated coal at temperature of 100 °C for 1 hour in air.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of sorption capacity of coal in relation to dimethylamine.
