FIELD: thermal insulation tanks.
SUBSTANCE: insulating block designed for thermal insulation of a fluid storage tank. Insulating block contains the first plate (11) and the second plate, located parallel to each other and at a distance from each other in the direction of the thickness of the insulating block. In addition, it contains bearing posts inserted between said first and second plates (10, 11) in the direction of the thickness of the insulating block, and a heat-insulating gasket located between the bearing posts. The first plate (11) contains reinforced support zones (13) on which the bearing racks (12) rest. Reinforced support zones (13) are connected to each other by a network (16) of ribs.
EFFECT: increasing the strength of the insulating block.
