FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: method for remote control of a mobile robot with delays in the information transmission channel. To control a mobile robot, operator commands are transmitted via a communication channel from the control panel to the mobile robot, telemetry information is transmitted from the robot to the control panel, the current state of the robot is compared with an earlier one that is relevant for the moment corresponding to the telemetry data presented on the console monitor to the operator, when they issued the command, the operator's commands are adjusted, taking into account the correction for the delay in a certain way.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of remote control.
