FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to robotics, namely to mobile microrobots for space purposes, for carrying out inspection work on solar batteries (SB) of spacecraft. The space robot inspector contains a carrier platform, a microcontroller, a communication interface transceiver with a connector and a detachable cable, a remote control system, a unit for determining the current location of the robot, an obstacle detection unit containing an infrared signal emitter and a reflected infrared signal receiver, a light sensor, a backlight unit, an autonomous a system for providing a thermal regime, screen-vacuum thermal insulation of a space robot-inspector. The remote control system includes a remote unit placed on the outer surface of the International Space Station (ISS) and containing a base unit for wireless data reception and transmission with a remote antenna, an autonomous system for ensuring the thermal regime of the remote unit and screen-vacuum thermal insulation of the remote unit, as well as a system power source control and control unit and control, placed in the sealed compartment of the ISS. In this case, all blocks are connected in a certain way.
EFFECT: reliability of the design during operation is increased.
