SUBSTANCE: method for correcting congenital scoliosis in case of unilateral violation of the segmentation of the lateral surfaces of the vertebral bodies in school children, which makes it possible to achieve correction of severe congenital deformity from the dorsal approach only. The objective of the invention is to achieve a full correction of the congenital curvature of the spine and ensure the stability of the achieved result in the process of growth and development of the child.
EFFECT: objective is achieved by performing a wedge-shaped osteotomy at the apex of the deformity, a two-level osteotomy of a non-segmented rod above and below the apex of the deformity along the concave side, in combination with bone grafting, and the final full correction of the congenital deformity by installing a multi-support metal structure.
