The method includes the use of a biotinylated derivative of oxidized dextran, which is a conjugate obtained by the reaction of biotin hydroside and oxidized dextran with a molecular weight of 40–70 kDa to form an azomethine bond, at a dose of 0.03 mg/kg, intramuscularly 5 injections every 72 hours.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent mastitis in cattle.
